Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Oversee daily performance of team members to ensure project deliverables. Handle large-scale projects, evaluate findings, prepare reports and make recommendations. Identify key client business issues, evaluate and validate analysis, and determine client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative strategies. Make recommendations to clients in context of the overall engagement. Support the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. Lead the development of financial strategies that align with the client s overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives. Identify key client business issues and determine client needs by supplementing standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client. Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences. Gather feedback on overall integration of programs and develop lessons-learned for future transactions. Conduct workshops with clients, Mergers & Acquisitions stakeholders, and plan internal integration team meetings. Illustrate technical reports by assembling spreadsheets and developing charts and graphs using MS Excel, including the use of linear optimization tools such as Solver, MS Excel Macro Tools, Stata, and data visualization tools including Tableau. Conduct and structure customer and client interview programs by identifying the key decision maker, securing and performing the interviews, and synthesizing results. Target synergies, develop a roadmap to front load synergy capture and help to realize the identified synergies, and measure synergies utilizing MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio. Optimize operating model and organization design using MS PowerPoint, Tableau, and Industry Print. Plan and implement integration and separation projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems (CIS) or a related field.

  • Five years of progressively responsible experience providing M&A consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.

  • Must have five years of experience with:

  • Identifying key client business issues and determining client needs by supplementing standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client;

  • Interpreting data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences;

  • Gathering feedback on overall integration of programs and developing lessons-learned for future transactions;

  • Conducting workshops with clients, Mergers & Acquisitions stakeholders, and planning internal integration team meetings;

  • Illustrating technical reports by assembling spreadsheets and developing charts and graphs using MS Excel, including the use of linear optimization tools such as Solver, MS Excel Macro Tools, Stata, and data visualization tools including Tableau;

  • 80% travel required.
