Work You ll Do

Work to support and lead specific corporate strategy projects that primarily focus on growth, innovation, risk and operations across the Deloitte US firm. Projects will include work with any of Deloitte's four specific functional businesses: Attest & Enterprise Risk Services, Tax, Consulting or Financial Advisory Services, in addition to new services and businesses, channels (clients, industry sectors, geographies) or services that cross functional business lines. Interact with senior leaders within the organization and assist in the execution of various special projects which have the potential to significantly impact our organization. Help execute and manage various special projects involving strategy development, analysis and planning for achieving business growth, performing market entry and/or expansion, and developing other strategic initiatives related to clients, services, industry programs, talent, and international collaboration. Work with Senior Management to achieve and sustain superior overall performance. Manage complex projects with multiple work streams and geographically distributed resources including off-shore contingent. Develop content for executive-level presentations and reports to communicate and achieve buy-in for strategic recommendations. Develop content for and facilitate executive workshops and working sessions. Act as a counselor and coach to lower-level staff members, and provide guidance in staff recruitment and retention activities.



  • Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Three years of experience performing financial auditing.

  • Experience must include three years of:

  • Performing and overseeing data mining and data analytics, and developing financial models;

  • Performing data management and analysis, including creating, structuring, and analyzing complex operational and financial datasets using advanced Excel functions, including PivotTables, VLookup, and macros;

  • Leading project work streams for complex engagements by developing and supporting creation of work plans, identifying priorities, and delivering project outcomes; and

  • Applying knowledge of financial and statutory audit process, regulatory landscape, and audit trends for Fortune clients to provide audit opinions.

  • In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience as noted above.

  • Experience must include one year of:

  • Researching, creating business reports and delivering presentations on macro-level market topics, including industry trends and company-specific operational and financial issues involving revenue and profitability forecasts;

  • Performing financial analysis, including external market sizing and competitive analysis, and performing industry research and analysis of competitive markets for professional services;

  • Conducting market analysis, including determining current and future competitive environments of business entities utilizing microeconomic supply and demand principles, product lifecycle dynamics, and Roger Martin's framework, and Porter's five forces frameworks;

  • Collaborating with members of high performance teams and providing solution development for complex projects involving market, financial and data analysis, regulatory examination, and business modeling;

  • Analyzing data results and drawing insights to create strategic recommendations; and

  • Developing and maintaining a diverse set of business relationships across a broad network during project engagements
