Work You ll Do

Work to support and lead specific corporate strategy products that primarily focus on growth, innovation, risk and operations across the Deloitte US firm. Manage projects across Deloitte s four functional businesses: Audit & Assurance, Tax, Consulting, and Risk & Financial Advisory, in addition to new services and businesses, channels (clients, industry sectors, geographies) or services that cross functional business lines. Interact with senior leaders within the organization and assist in the execution of various special projects which have the potential to significantly impact the organization. Execute and manage various special projects involving strategy development, analysis and planning for achieving business growth, performing market entry and/or expansion, and developing other strategic initiatives related to clients, services, industry programs, talent, and international collaboration. Work with Senior Management to achieve and sustain superior overall performance. Manage complex projects with multiple work streams and geographically distributed resources including off-shore contingent. Develop and apply appropriate methodologies for market segmentation and sizing, drive market trend and competitive landscape analysis, portfolio analysis, business modeling, financial modeling, and operational analysis. Synthesize results of quantitative and qualitative research and analysis into implications, key trends and/or recommendations. Develop content for executive-level presentations and reports to communicate and achieve buy-in for strategic recommendations. Develop content for and facilitate executive workshops and working sessions. Manage client relationships, engagement risks, and project economics including planning and budgeting. Act as a counselor and coach to lower-level staff members, and provide guidance in staff recruitment and retention activities.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Technology, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Three years of experience performing strategy development and analysis.

  • Experience must include three years of:

  • Performing and overseeing data mining, data analytics, and predictive modeling initiatives;

  • Performing data management and analysis, including creating, structuring, and analyzing complex operational and financial datasets using advanced Excel functions, including PivotTables, VLookup, and macros;

  • Leading project work streams for complex engagements by developing and supporting creation of work plans, identifying priorities, defining project scope, establishing budgets, and delivering project outcomes;

  • Collaborating with senior leadership and members of high performance teams to develop solutions for complex projects involving market, financial, and data analysis, regulatory examination, and business modeling;

  • Developing and maintaining a diverse set of business relationships across a broad network during project engagements;

  • Analyzing data results and drawing insights to create strategic recommendations; and

  • Providing professional consulting services to global Fortune 500 companies, and applying knowledge of risk management function and professional services industry to provide strategic analysis.

  • In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience as stated above.

  • Experience must include one year of:

  • Performing financial analysis, including external market sizing and competitive analysis;

  • Performing industry research and analysis of competitive markets for professional services, and applying knowledge of risk management function and professional services industry to provide strategic analysis; and

  • Developing competitive intelligence by analyzing competitors capabilities in areas such as automation, block chain, cloud computing, digital banking, and branding.
