Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Services, Inc. seeks a Manager, Global Strategy in New York, NY.

Work You ll Do

Manage corporate strategy projects that primarily focus on achieving leading positioning, growth, and performance across the Deloitte network. Assist in defining project scope, recommending approaches, and managing execution of major strategic projects. Help establish analytical frameworks to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex business issues. Develop and apply appropriate methodologies for market segmentation and sizing, drive market trend and competitive landscape analysis, client portfolio analysis, business modeling, financial modeling, and operations analysis. Conduct secondary research to analyze the professional services marketplace to help senior leaders understand the market opportunity and Deloitte s competitive position, globally and by geographic market, business, industry sector, and client segment. Ensure the logic, accuracy, and appropriate scope to inform strategic analyses. Synthesize results of quantitative and qualitative research and analysis into implications, key trends and/or recommendations.



  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management or related field.

  • Six years of progressively responsible experience providing consulting services on corporate strategy, business unit strategy, industry and sector strategy, and client segmentation strategy development for a global firm.

  • Must have six years of experience with:

  • Prescreening all aspects of projects, setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress of projects using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft OneDrive, and Microsoft SharePoint;

  • Developing and managing portfolios of project financials, including development of financial budgets and plans as well as developing framing questions and strategy narratives;

  • Demonstrating expertise in key operation focus areas, including: Lean Six Sigma, Opex Spend Analysis, Business Process Improvement, Process Mapping relying on Software AG s ARIS, Microsoft Visio, operations model design and implementation, asset management systems and standards, performance improvement, maintenance, reliability and turnarounds, and process engineering;

  • Performing revenue and cost analysis for corporate organizations by conducting quantitative analysis to determine and forecast profitability, and make strategic decisions;

  • Developing extensive financial models with long-term projections of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and technology platforms to increase efficiency and of solutions to support strategic decision-making and operational execution;

  • Providing industry insight and analytical expertise based on data mining, data visualization with Tableau and other predictive modelling tools, predictive analytics techniques, random forecasts, linked data refreshes, dashboards automation, and sensitivity analysis using complex financial modelling to produce analysis and algorithms, discover meaningful patterns, trends and relationships; and

  • Conducting industry research, architecting and adapting strategic assessments to prioritize revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities across operations.
