FSI Investment Management & Real Estate- Ops Trans Senior Manager

The Financial Services Industry team at Deloittefocuses on the most pressing issues in Financial Services, including rapidchanges in customer needs, technology, increased globalization, and applyingfinancial regulations.

The team concentrates on delivering customerinsights, core growth and digital strategies, operational transformation, humancapital and technology modernization services to bank executives. We help clients with regulatory reform,technological modernization, customer insights, competitive dynamics, andincreasing market growth opportunities.

Work you ll do

A Senior Manager at Deloitte isexpected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety ofways, including:

  • Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk

  • Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors

  • Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies

  • Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals

  • People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

-{PS..6}->A Bachelor's Degree is required.

-{PS..7}->Ability to travel 80% required.

In addition, successful SeniorManagers will also have the following preferred skills:

-{PS..8}->Ability to work independently, manage small engagements orparts of large engagements.

-{PS..9}->Strong oral and written communication skills, includingpresentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).

-{PS..10}->Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with theability to exercise mature judgment.

-{PS..11}->Willingness to mentor junior staff.

-{PS..12}->An advanced degree is preferred.
