ThePublic Relations manager will help deliverinnovative external communications strategies that build and protect the firm sbrand and reputation, help position the firm as a leader in the marketplace,ensure consistent messaging, and position Deloitte executives as luminarieswhose commentary enhances the Deloitte brand.
The successful candidate is a team player, creative thinker, andproactive practitioner who has an execution-oriented mindset and can work atboth strategic and tactical levels to deliver high-value communications results. In this role, there will also be an opportunity to work acrossseveral areas including M&A, executive visibility, sponsorships, thoughtleadership and exploring new and innovative ways to measure and draw insightsfrom PR results.
What you will do:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and drive externalcommunications plans that strategically position Deloitte in the marketplace.
Drive external eminence for Deloitte by proactively pitching stories positioningDeloitte leaders as experts on specific topics.
Become accepted as a trusted advisor and provide strategiccommunications counsel to senior leadership.
Serve as a key media contact and actively work to enhance and cultivaterelationships with the media, particularly within top tier business press andleading trade publications, and facilitate media interviews with leadership.
Prepare spokespeople for media interviews and speakingengagements by creating detailed briefing books - including key messages andtalking points - and providing refresher media training as appropriate, facilitatingand coordinating more in-depth media training for spokespeople when required.
Help manage external PR agency resources.
Employ strong projectmanagement skills and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, consistentlydelivering high quality results.

Ability to interact and communicate across a variety of stakeholdergroups (technical subject matter experts to business owners), with ability topresent complex information in easily understandable format and tailored toaudiences.
