Work you will do
You will work directly with the Deloitte Discovery Data Remediation/Data Migration team, cross-functional client stakeholders, and outside counsel to solve complex data issues. You will liaise with other Deloitte Discovery services and Deloitte service areas, and at times work on projects driven by these services (agility is a plus). This work can take place directly at the client site or may be performed remotely from your home office or at our innovative Electronic Discovery Solutions Center ('EDSC') in Hermitage Tennessee. Here are just some to the things you will be doing:
Oversee the day-to-day activities on client engagements
Compile findings and recommendations and implementation plans
Prepare and present oral and written reports and presentations
Define resource requirements and project budgets.
Handle billing and collections
Supervise and train associates and senior associates
Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
Network to identify and sell potential new services or expand existing engagements
Participate in RFP responses, engagement letters and Statements of Work
Participate in industry conferences and tradeshows and author articles
Participate in initiatives to improve the capabilities of the practice
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of Consulting experience (Forensics, e-Discovery, Information Governance, Content Archiving)
Working understanding of databases and/or file systems
Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management
Experienced with business processes mapping and optimization
Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and properly delegate work
Demonstrated ability to provide business consulting services and lead client presentations
Professional demeanor and effective communication skills, both written and oral
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Ability to travel 50% (While the ability to travel up to 50% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Preferred:
MBA or Business degree with concentration in Information systems
Experience manipulating large data sets and with data visualization programs (i.e., Tableau)
Experience with natural language processing and machine learning
Understanding of information governance and document retention
Ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas in non-technical terms
Ability to provide strategy and operations design and implementation services
Experience in professional services firm preferred
Understanding of eDiscovery processes and tools and systems
Experience with regulatory archiving, WORM, and SEC 17a3&4 regulations
Experience with construction and implementation of records taxonomy
Experience of AWS and/or Azure cloud-based services
