Virtual Solution Team Lead (Manager Level; US)
As a Virtual Solutions Team Lead, you will be aligned to the product development team of ConvergeHEALTH. ConvergeHEALTH is a part of Deloitte Consulting and creates new health ecosystems to enable the future of health by combining next generation platforms, deep industry experience and novel collaboration models.
The Virtual Solutions Lead will lead work with Deloitte Consulting s Life Sciences and Health leadership as well as ConvergeHEALTH leadership to manage and track assets through ideation with product development teams to build and implement the software products that meet the needs for regulated systems and Software as a Medical Devices (SaMDs). You will have the opportunity to build your professional skills in a variety of project experiences and be involved in helping our clients understand, assess, and leverage ConvergeHEALTH QMS for their needs for regulated systems and SaMD.
Work you ll do
Works with VST Executive, LS Asset Governance Council and in-market solution team PPMDs to identify, onboard and manage the portfolio of ConvergeHEALTH Assets
Works with LS Asset Governance Council members to shape the future direction of the ConvergeHEALTH asset portfolio
Standardizes the onboarding processes for new assets coming into the ConvergeHEALTH portfolio works with Operating Portfolio and Innovation and Platforms asset teams to coordinate new solution and investment requests
Owns coordination across internal ConvergeHEALTH teams (QMS, DevOps, IPTs) as required to support ConvergeHEALTH assets
Manages and tracks progress and major milestones for all ConvergeHEALTH assets (outside of those managed by IPTs)
Work with stakeholders to understand solution issues, prioritize features based on needs and benefits to maximize product value
Break down complex problems into actionable steps for the development team
Works with Customer Success teams to track client development
Supports ConvergeHEALTH Leadership and Sector leadership to support business development and pursuit opportunities
Needs excellent stake holder management, communication skills
Interface with leadership on a regular basis
Core Industry Solutions
Our Core Industry Solutions practice encompasses industry vertical, sector specific solutions that leverage distinct technologies to drive operational change and automate the core of the business. Examples of the type of work we deliver to our clients includes Digital CARE (Epic), Insurance CST (Guidewire), and Digital Banking Solutions (nCino).
The team brings experience from across Deloitte to leverage common approaches, best practices, and strategic investments to scale these solutions by industry strategy. Professionals will focus on key client issues that are at the core of the business by integrating our industry expertise with deep technical and operational transformation capabilities.
Bachelor s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics or other life sciences / healthcare related field etc.
Understanding and affinity for the Life Sciences and Healthcare Industry or experience in (e. g., pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology) in the areas of manufacturing, quality assurance/quality control or regulatory compliance a plus
Process knowledge and experience (e. g., drug safety/pharmacovigilance, product life cycle management, computerized system validation, manufacturing execution, quality systems, IT quality systems, aggregate spend, records management) a plus
Have strong communication skills (both written and verbal English), and organizational and interpersonal relationship-building skills
Functional or technical computer system knowledge and experience with proficiency in MS Office Suite
Demonstrate ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and communicate results
Complex problem-solving abilities across operational, organizational, and strategic matters
Must have high energy and flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; team player; positive attitude
Ability to work independently and under general direction with a strong sense of motivation to succeed.
Location preference: Boston
Travel up to 20% (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
