Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting Managing Director in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Build and grow the Deloitte practice among top clients in the financial sector. Provide thought leadership in master data management, big data architecture, and data governance. Establish eminence by publishing articles and presenting at industry events. Lead consulting and innovative asset development by leveraging machine learning, automation, dynamic ontologies, and other emerging technologies for advanced data management applications. Deliver multi-year Advanced Enterprise Data Management strategy and roadmap projects for industry-leading clients. Advise on the design, development, and implementation of systems and processes to capture, integrate and distribute information in an enterprise. Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Organize and lead pursuit teams, lead proposal development efforts, and develop proposal pricing strategies. Report to C-level client contacts, and manage on- and off-site client teams. Assist clients in defining and establishing Analytics and Business Intelligence Centers of Competence, including operating models and processes, funding models, organizational structure, and technology platforms. Implement Analytics, Master Data Management, Data Warehousing, Enterprise Data Management, and Data Governance projects for industry-leading clients. Leverage global resourcing models for cost efficient project delivery, as well as ongoing application support and maintenance. Manage and direct clients in bridging the relationship between business and technology groups, as well as collaborating or working across lines of business to establish synergies and standardization. Implement strategies for the harvesting and reusing of solution assets and intellectual capital from engagements. Participate in the formation and implementation of strategies to expand delivery capabilities in Analytics, Master Data Management, Data Warehousing, Enterprise Data Management and Data Governance solutions using IBM, Informatica, or other similar technologies. Develop the practice and establish skills and professional development for growing consulting and development resources in the areas of analytics, big data, business intelligence, master data management, enterprise data management and data governance. Drive proposal development, consulting revenues, resource allocation recommendations, project reviews, and presales support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Ten years of experience providing IT consulting services on behalf of a global company.

  • Must have ten years of experience with:

  • Assisting clients in defining and establishing Analytics and Business Intelligence Centers of Competence, including operating models and processes, funding models, organizational structure, and technology platforms;

  • Implementing Analytics, Master Data Management, Data Warehousing, Enterprise Data Management, and Data Governance projects for industry-leading clients;

  • Leveraging global resourcing models for cost efficient project delivery, as well as ongoing application support and maintenance;

  • Managing and directing clients in bridging the relationship between business and technology groups, as well as collaborating or working across lines of business to establish synergies and standardization;

  • Implementing strategies for the harvesting and reusing of solution assets and intellectual capital from engagements;

  • Participating in the formation and implementation of strategies to expand delivery capabilities in Analytics, Master Data Management, Data Warehousing, Enterprise Data Management and Data Governance solutions using IBM, Informatica, or other similar technologies;

  • Developing the practice and establishing skills and professional development for growing consulting and development resources in the areas of analytics, big data, business intelligence, master data management, enterprise data management and data governance;

  • Driving proposal development, consulting revenues, resource allocation recommendations, project reviews, and presales support.

  • In the alternative, employer will accept a Master s degree or foreign equivalent in a stated field and eight years of experience.

  • Any suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable.

  • 80% travel required.
