Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Function as an integrator between business needs and performance management technology solutions and create data management solutions to meet clients business needs. Work within an engagement team to define system strategy, identify business and system requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design, testing and training. Define support procedures to support implementations. Facilitate workshops with clients and conduct detailed analysis of requirements and design documentation to identify functional or technical gaps. Analyze and perform a fit-gap analysis between proposed functional design and current functional processes. Work with a team of developers to produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process. Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD) utilizing Waterfall or Agile Methodologies and using context diagrams, functional decomposition, use case diagram and sequence diagram tools. Design future-state business processes and architecture, validate requirements, define data models and design functional specifications using Waterfall and Agile Methodologies. Track tasks, statuses, milestones, deliverables and risks and perform impact analysis of changes made to components and systems to help mitigate risks utilizing Microsoft Project, Jira and Microsoft SharePoint. Analyze system architecture and new data sets utilizing Informatica PowerCenter, Teradata and Microsoft SQL Server. Design and develop data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching. Design and build the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) process using Informatica PowerCenter, and utilize Microsoft SQL server to input data from multiple source system into the data warehouse and data hub. Refine the data for analytics using the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) process and create views in Microsoft SQL server. Utilize Tableau to create visuals, and build dashboards and customizations to meet the needs of the end-users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering (any), Information Technology, or a related field.

  • One year of experience in the position above, as a Business Technology Analyst, or a related occupation.

  • Must have one year of experience with:

  • Creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD) utilizing Waterfall or Agile Methodologies and using context diagrams, functional decomposition, use case diagram and sequence diagram tools;

  • Designing future-state business processes and architecture, validating requirements, defining data models and designing functional specifications using Waterfall and Agile Methodologies;

  • Tracking tasks, statuses, milestones, deliverables and risks and performing impact analysis of changes made to components and systems to help mitigate risks utilizing Microsoft Project, Jira and Microsoft SharePoint;
