Work You ll Do
Leveraging analytics, robotics, andcognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves ofdata, creating and managing large-scale organizational intelligence, andgenerating insights that catalyze growth and efficiencies. Participating invarious aspects of the full software development lifecycle for softwareapplications, which may include requirements gathering, applicationconfiguration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments,enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations andurgent issues. Evaluating clients technology needs, developing customizedapplications and draft technical and functional design documentation.Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for clientengagements. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technologysolutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients businessneeds. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing,prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting systemimplementation. Developing dashboard wireframes and designing requirementsbased on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual designconsiderations. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients forall phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build thesystem functionalities. Creating test cases and performing functional,non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-endtesting of software applications. Researching user reported issues withsoftware applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementingfixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technicaldelivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, includingscreen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models,and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Tracking applicationdefects using defect tracking tools; coordinating defect resolution efforts,and documenting resolution details. Performing assessments of existinginformation systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements andcurrent system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for thedevelopment work. Designing sub-components of larger application systems.Integrating the applications with each other and continuously optimizing thesystem structure to improve stability and performance.
Bachelor s degreeor foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.
One year ofexperience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.
Must have one yearof experience with:
Performing assessments of existing informationsystems through stakeholder interviews, identifying gaps between businessrequirements and current system capabilities and recommending potentialtechnology solutions;
Streamlining the end-to-end Extract, Transform andLoad (ETL) process for data consolidation, developing processes for dataquality validations by collaborating with business users and developingautomated scripts using VBA and MS Access;
Identifying test scenarios, test data requirementsbased on acceptance criteria and writing and executing manual and automatedtest scripts;
Creating functional and business specific testcases and performing functional and non-functional system integration testing,regression testing, and performance testing of applications using the HP ALM suite;
Researching user reported software defects,liaising between business functions, end users, technical delivery teams andother project stakeholders for root-cause analysis and defect triaging andtracking application defects using HP ALM;
Performing in-depth data analysis and reviews toproduce and support monthly reports and providing insights related to progressand trends using Tableau and QlikView;
Gathering reporting and visual design requirementsfrom project stakeholders, developing dashboard wireframes and building dataquality dashboards using QlikView;
Designing data model to support reportinginfrastructure using MS Visio and MS Access, identifying key performanceindicators to track operational metrics and developing Tableau and/or QlikView dashboardsfor high level insights.
80% travel required.
