As an Accounting and Reporting Senior Specialist, you'll design and execute procedures based on the client s business, the risks it faces, and its internal control processes. You ll use our cutting-edge tools and technology.Other responsibilities will include:Leverage artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data visualizationsProcess flow automation to perform data interrogation and analysis of client dataProvide excellent timely client service, deliver high quality work and strengthen client relationshipsProvide technical accounting advice and assist teams in preparing detailed calculations in areas such as:Revenue Recognition and related costs (ASC 606 and ASC 340-40)LeasesCurrent Expected Credit Losses (CECL)Stock-based compensationBusiness combinationsForeign currenciesEquityEarnings per shareCapitalization of internal use software and website development costsUnderstand and assist clients in complying with SEC financial reporting requirements (10Ks, 10Qs and other filings)Perform gap analysis of accounting systems, internal controls and SOX requirements, document appropriate processes and controls, and assist with operating effectiveness testing of controlsSupport client in quarterly and annual close processesAssist with draft financial statements and other SEC filing requirementsAssist clients in preparing for and completing audits, and liaising with the auditorsIdentifying and communicating (i) critical deal issues, (ii) the strength and weakness of the business against industry benchmarks to client management that could impact the purchase price or the deal structureChallenging assumptions related to future financial projectionsIdentifying critical post-closing matters to be addressed to ensure improvements in profitability and cash flowsInteracting extensively with personnel of the target companies and the clientReviewing and preparing due diligence reports outlining analyses and findingsAssisting with the finalization of (i) opening balance sheet/ of purchase price allocations, and (ii) closing working capital calculations.
