Alliance New Partnership Opportunities Compliance Leader

This role will lead all of our new priority marketplace business relationship and alliance compliance activities, managing multiple stakeholders to streamline our interactions with third-parties and business teams, and providing subject matter expertise to support the teams for clearing our go to market relationships through all the critical activities needed to form our new marketplace business relationships. The role will require a level of commercial savviness, as the individual will be responsible for helping to define best practices for interacting with the business and our third-parties in the formation of our new commercial relationships, including driving positive outcomes and reducing friction while adhering to firm standards and managing risk. In addition, the manager will drive analysis of root cause issues and work with our internal risk and compliance teams to provide a business-focused approach in leveraging our internal systems. This leader will also provide strategic guidance and leadership, in addition to helping define requirements, for the New Partnership Opportunities system strategy around managing our marketplace business relationships. This role will work closely with the leads responsible for the business development and contracting of our new relationships.

Work You'll Do:

This role will require the individual to work on consultations with Deloitte business teams and third-parties and work closely with all of our internal teams to provide best practices and promote continuous improvement in how we work and interface with our important go to market third-parties.

This position offers an opportunity to work across multiple organizations in Deloitte, including OGC, Delivery Excellence, Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM), and all of our Offering Portfolios and Industries, to become a trusted advisor to the business.

The Team:

Deloitte Consulting Ecosystems Team is made up of ecosystem managers and their respective ecosystem teams, as well as a core team of professionals running the day to day operations. The Ecosystems team is part of a larger Ecosystems & Alliances (E&A) team. E&A enables differentiated, innovative go-to-market solutions that bring quantified value to our clients and incremental revenue to the firm.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field OR Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field and strong business acumen

  • Executive presence and maturity to help coach business teams and offer guidance to senior firm leaders

  • Strong process orientations

  • Ability to manage remote and/or shared resources

  • Expertise in compliance and/or risk either at Deloitte or prior experience

  • Excellent understanding of technology and systems to help provide input to the next generation of internal systems

  • 7+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a matrixed organization

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to drive change in an organization

  • Previous management experience

  • Mature judgment and sound decision-making skills

  • Up to 20% travel required

Preferred

  • Client service experience preferred

  • Willingness to learn in-depth about Deloitte's alliances and E&A strategy

  • Can-do attitude and able to effectively prioritize multiple threads of work
