Work You ll Do

Analyze companies from a financial, operational, competitive, and industry perspective. Research and analyze industries and market data. Coach and mentor team members. Create and deliver presentations to obtain new business engagements. Assess and create business requirements for automation of manual reporting processes. Interview top management and owners of client businesses. Following the Agile framework, create development timeline, and estimate development effort for user stories. Create test strategy and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect resolution. Create presentation material on project status, organizational impact, and present the same to clients. Work, as part of an engagement team, to assist clients in identifying opportunities and risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Eighteen months of experience interpreting and applying accounting standards.

  • Experience must include eighteen months of:

  • Performing financial statement analysis at the controller level;

  • Communicating with clients and providing training to client;

  • Drafting accounting policy, white paper and position paper;

  • Performing technical accounting analysis in accordance with ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), IFRS 9 (Financial Instruments), and ASC 326 (Financial Instruments, Credit Losses) and creating accounting positions;

  • Utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel tools including Pivot Tables, VLookup, and Macros; and

  • Collaborating with team members to prioritize and divide tasks.

  • Position requires 90% travel.
