Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP seeks a Advisory Senior Consultant in New York, NY.
Work You ll Do
Provide in-depth business and financial advisory services to companies, their creditors, their equity holders, the legal community, bank syndicates and other interested parties in both in-court and out-of-court reorganizations. Perform transaction-based, complex restructurings provides the basis to ask the appropriate questions and prioritize our work in a way that enables us to deliver meaningful answers for a specific company, its lenders and other stakeholders. Assist in bringing order to difficult situations and to build the consensus necessary to quickly achieve a final resolution. Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to manage client relationships. Create and deliver client proposals to obtain new engagements.
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Two years of experience advising companies, lenders and investors on restructuring solutions including operational and capital structure issues.
Experience must include two years of:
Producing and critiquing financial models to aid company processing operationally and financially;
Assessing and analyzing potential cost-savings and efficiency options for operation consulting standpoints;
Assisting in sourcing work and income revenue streams for work within the U.S. and globally;
Troubleshooting and problem solving with chief executives involved in reorganization;
Performing 13-week cash flow modeling and treasury management;
Developing and modeling strategic c-level options for restructuring;
Utilizing programs to create detailed and complex visualization reports to convey information and operational data to clients;
Communicating with courts, stakeholders, creditors, lenders, and investors to discuss restructuring operation savings and plans; and
Engaging with global clients, including cross-border negotiations and transactions.
Position requires approximately 90% travel.
