Advisory Technology Senior Consultant - Infrastructure & Capital Projects

We are seeking individuals at the Senior Consultant level to join our Infrastructure & Capital Projects practice. Candidates should have the ability to listen to, understand, and incorporate client needs and objectives into work plans and to execute the work. Our goal is to provide a variety of experiences that will allow you to learn and understand our practice. Senior Consultants will be staffed on engagements where they will have the opportunity to provide an array of program and project management services. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand the complexities our clients deal with on capital projects to help solutions for them along with high technical configuration and business analytics skillsets and can support project execution activities utilizing the PMIS toolsets.

Work you'll do

As a Technology Senior Consultant (Business Analyst/Configuration Lead) within our practice, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the configuration and implementationof Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) to optimize client project delivery

  • Analyzing client needsto understand the complexities of their capital projects and developing tailored solutions

  • Designing and configuring comprehensive PMIS solutions, including integrations, reporting, and dashboards, to meet client requirements

  • Collaborating with project teamsto ensure the design, configuration, and rollout of systems like Oracle Primavera Unifier, Kahua, EcoSys, and Procore are successful

  • Conducting rigorous testing and validationof configured solutions, followed by the development of detailed training and documentation to support client adoption

  • Participating in problem-solving sessionswith the team, contributing innovative ideas to address client issues

These services are delivered across the five primary phases of the capital asset lifecycle (Strategy & Planning, Procurement, Execution & Construction, Operations & Maintenance, and Disposal) and include assessments to capital efficiency, governance structure and process design, contractual compliance, risk management, claims management, and project controls and analytics

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management.

  • At least 4 years of experience in PMIS system implementation, particularly with Oracle Primavera Unifier, Kahua, EcoSys, or Procore

  • Extensive project management and controls experience, with a deep understanding of project management fundamentals

  • Proficiency in project controls, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and integrating these aspects into technology platforms

  • Strong capability in configuring PMIS tools, performing system integrations, and developing reports and dashboards

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% based on client and project needs

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in a related field or an MBA

  • Professional certifications such as PE, ASA, PMP, CFA, CFE, CCE, or CPA

  • Experience with coding, particularly SQL

  • Previous experience in a professional services firm or with international project engagements

  • Multilingual capabilities

This compensation range is specific to New York City, Jersey City, California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,445 to $229,075.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
