Deloitte Account Supervisor - Life Science/Healthcare in New York, New York

We're seeking an Account Supervisor who is passionate about brands and eager to help grow a new agency model. You'll need to already have some mastery of the healthcare marketplace, and a passion to be on the cutting edge of what's next. This role has the potential to work with a broad variety of therapeutic areas, products and solutions across all types of clients (pharma, med tech, providers, payers, and public health.

The Account Supervisor helps to shape and grow a variety of clients' business. Responsible for managing multiple client projects, the Account Supervisor should lead their respective projects, be a trusted partner to the internal teams and clients, while effectively managing the overall processes to ensure the highest quality work. In your role, you will:

  • Lead and oversee projects within accounts in partnership with the Account Director and Group Account Director, and in partnership with the corresponding leads from Strategy, Creative, Production, and Media while ensuring successful strategic planning, creative development and execution across all projects.

  • Build expertise in clients' business and function as an effective spokesperson for their business needs within the agency. Stay informed and personally involved, ensuring sound planning, good service and a solid client/agency relationship.

  • Develop and manage relationships with mid-senior level clients on their accounts and become a trusted advisor and a go-to person for helping them with their business issues.

  • Maintain open and complete communications of client status and issues with functional agency leaders. Keep Account Director/Group Account Director informed of the status of projects, problems, plans and meetings, and involve appropriate agency management personnel at key times.

  • Know the healthcare and life science industry and can be an effective spokesperson for their business needs within the agency.

  • Manage and help mentor respective account teams, including Account Executives, Assistant Account Executives and Account Coordinators.

  • Comprehend and help sell in the full talent and capabilities of the agency

  • Foster a team environment across all agency departments and maintain a high level of performance by the account teams and other agency personnel.

  • Provide support on new business pitches as needed.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of solid account management experience preferably with a healthcare advertising agency

  • Fully integrated campaign experience

  • Experience working with life sciences and health care clients at top tier companies and brands

  • Proficiency in Keynote and Powerpoint

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Ability to travel up to 30% (While 30% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.
