Work you ll do

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer of a USD 20 Billion enterprise, this individual will have an overall responsibility for managing the day to day business and technology operations of the organization. This is a key strategic role which requires an individual committed to providing vision, leadership, organizational direction, and guidance across T&I. S/he must demonstrate creativity and analytical skills as well as attention to detail and the ability to lead innovative initiatives which lead to meaningful change, the impact of which can be both measured and scaled. There will be extensive interaction with senior leadership of external clients, vendors, and internal clients and while maintaining a level of discretion and confidentiality.

This person will be responsible for the ideation, providing executive sponsorship and the delivery of strategic, transformational, and operational initiatives for T&I. S/he will ensure understanding and alignment of initiatives by leaders/workers across US, USI, and the entire North and South Americas Region.

  • Ability to lead-the-leaders and nurture a vision-driven culture in which high performance, collaboration, transparency and accountability are expected, rewarded and celebrated.

  • Responsible for the overall financial management and P&L of over USD 300 Million as it relates to the T&I budgeting process and oversight of investment programs or operations

  • Liaise with senior leadership across businesses and geographies in the North and South Americas region with over 15 Deloitte Member Firms

  • Provide strategic and consultative services to the leadership teamas a trusted advisor and subject matter expert by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice while holding them accountable for results.

  • Responsible for Project and Portfolio Management, including managing objectives, timelines, risks, discrepancies and dependencies; with a specific focus on strategic efforts across T&I.Ensure robust measurement and evaluation of the project to critically assess impact.

  • Be risk aware, identifying and managing risks; provide alternative solutions; escalate when appropriate, anticipating sensitive matters.

  • Focus on utilization, quality of service, and efficiencies which drive unit costs down through continuous improvement.

  • Advise and advocate on emerging T&I technology services and offerings; provide high value insights on how technology can successfully enable strategic priorities to maximize the value of IT investments.

  • Drive the key messages and designs/develops the executive presentations and content for communication from the CTO - including town halls, executive meetings, etc.

  • Establish credibility throughout the organization and set the example as a proactive leader who earns respect by demonstrating a sound understanding of business goals and objectives.

  • Develop a framework for learning and create an organizational culture of learning and knowledge sharing within T&I.

  • Lead, coach, supervise and develop staff as required; utilize outside resources as appropriate

  • Manage and cultivate existing and new relationships withkey stakeholder groups to maintain relationships.

  • Take an outside-in-view, championing insights and strategies to increase the value and impact of T&I services.
