In 2008, Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP (DTBA) opened a new facility in Nashville, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. DTBA's E-Discovery Solutions Center ("EDSC") continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of DTBA' s e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join DTBA's Analytic & Forensic Technology practice and help drive the success of the EDSC. This role can be done remote from Deloitte's major eDiscovery hub locations which include Hermitage, Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Jersey City, Los Angeles, Washington DC
The EDSC is a 24x7, 365 days a year operation. The position is located in Hermitage, Tennessee. Our operators perform the work as well as quality check points. Typically, each team has a 1st, second and weekend shift representative.
The hours for this role will start off as regular weekday hours (Monday - Friday) from 9:00 - 6:00 pm CST or 8:00 - 5:00 pm CST. Once role holder is sufficiently autonomous, there may be an expectation to move him/her to weekend or 2nd shift depending on the team needs. 2nd shift is 1:00 - 10:00 pm CST and Weekend Shift - Friday through Monday is 9:00am - 8:00 pm CST.
The incumbent will be a technical contributor in operations team including coordinating & prioritizing operational tasks that are aligned to a selection of project portfolios. A significant function of their day to day requirements include; coordinating the teams tasks, including but not limited to drafting process and procedural documentation; training staff; managing application errors and data issue escalation; supporting complex eDiscovery data processing and hosting platforms & workflows; and other tasks as deemed appropriate by the management team.
Assisting Team Leads & retaining overall project knowledge and representing operations in internal and external project discussions
Track project workflow and support project managers ("PMs") by providing project status and issue reporting
Use various ESI discovery data processing and hosting platforms to extract text and metadata from electronic documents and host them for review while adhering to higher quality standards.
Train operations staff on ESI discovery applications and develop training materials as needed.
Trouble-shoot and resolve issues prior to escalation to operations management and/or engineering
Experience supporting project teams while working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced technical environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong working knowledge of basic PC functions, Operating Systems (Windows, Mac, etc.) and Office Applications (e.g. MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong working knowledge of basic network functions such as RDP, Mapping UNC Paths, Network Shares.
Basic to Intermediate knowledge of database concepts, applications and queries (i.e. SQL)
Hands-on experience with both traditional (Term and Boolean) as well as concept-based search tools and technologies
Ability to learn and execute customized proprietary tools, applications & custom workflow
Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience using several ESI data processing platforms (e.g. Relativity, ECapture, Nuix, Clearwell, LAW, etc
Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience using several ESI data hosting platforms (e.g. Relativity, Nuix Discover, Concordance, Clearwell, etc.)
Work flexible schedules to meet project deadlines.
2+ Years of relevant eDiscovery experience, with a Bachelor's degree in the following majors with relevant analytics or data management focused coursework desired: Bachelor's degree in the fields of Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Math, or Finance preferred.
Experience managing the full E-discovery lifecycle on large-scale eDiscovery processing projects.
Experience with Transact SQL strongly preferred. Executing or Modifying standard SQL scripts.
Preferred Relativity Certified Administrator or Relativity Processing Specialist etc.
Ability to travel 5% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
