Work you'll do

We are currently looking to add a self-motivated professional to our passionate, innovative, and results-driven Digital Forensics & Investigations Team. The Team is deeply committed to the protection of the Deloitte brand, our practitioners, and our clients.

  • Support the Digital Forensic & Investigations Team in high tech investigations in the form of electronic evidence, computer forensic analysis, e-mail analysis, data recovery and network assessments in support of our Legal, Talent, Confidentiality, and Insider Threat organizations.

  • Perform computer forensic / investigative services including digital evidence collection, preservation, analysis, data recovery, electronic mail extraction, and database examination.

  • Perform technical analyses and interpretations of computer-related evidence such as e-mail, and information stored on electronic devices.

  • Document and generate examination reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders; and provide actionable recommendations when necessary.

  • Contribute to the overall process improvement of investigation policies and processes.

  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders, including, but not limited to, internal clients such as legal, talent, insider threat, incident response, and cyber security leadership.

  • Keep up to date of emerging digital forensic and investigation trends, technologies, and techniques.

  • Evaluate, test, recommend, and integrate new Electronic Discovery and/or Computer Forensic tools and technologies.

  • Develop unique and creative solutions to problems on the fly to successfully perform mission critical tasks.

  • Position will cover 10:00AM to 7:00PM CT.

Cyber Security

Cyber Security vigilantly protects Deloitte and client data. The team leads a strategic cyber risk program that adapts to a rapidly changing threat landscape, changes in business strategies, risks, and vulnerabilities. Using situational awareness, threat intelligence, and building a security culture across the organization, the team helps to protect the Deloitte brand.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in any combination of roles as a Security Analyst, Incident Responder, Forensic Examiner, and/or Enterprise Mail Administrator

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Verifiable skills performing computer investigations.

  • Understanding of forensic protocols & artifacts, operating systems, email examinations and platforms.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63,000 - $129,300
