What you'll do: As a member of the Tax Marketing Team, you will create and drive strategic marketing plans aligned with key tax service offerings including Tax Credits & Incentives, Sustainability, Climate & Equity, and other priority offerings. You will leverage agile principles, bring marketing strategy to life by creating the vision for campaign plans, and work with our in-house agency on campaign execution.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive strategic marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of marketing strategy and execution -- including the interplay of digital and offline channels to drive engagement -- and enabling technologies.

  • Develop and drive fully integrated strategic marketing and communications activities that utilize the full spectrum of traditional and innovative marketing channels.

  • Create messaging specific to audience, channel and/or based on marketing activity that resonates with key audiences.

  • Provide counsel, idea generation, and consultation in support of the Tax growth strategy.

  • Engage our in-house agency on the successful execution of campaigns; collaborate on strategy, best practices, and oversee the on-time and on-budget delivery of campaigns.

  • Negotiate contracts, SOWs, and other key agreements related to internal and external partnership agreements.

  • Collaborate with agency on creative concepts + approach to stakeholder sell-in.

  • Work with the Public Relations team to amplify media coverage when applicable.

  • Coordinate with the Internal Comms team to ensure internal/external consistency and maximize opportunities across businesses and industries.

  • Collaborate with Sales Executives on marketing qualified leads and delivery of a cohesive sales experience.

  • Develop and report metrics and KPIs to assess campaign success at the campaign, activity, and channel levels to inform future campaign tactics.

  • Manage quarterly campaign impact report development for Tax leadership .

  • Bring innovative thinking and best practices to all marketing activities.



  • 10+ years of related experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing and communications strategy and planning

  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing communications strategies and tactics and how they come together to provide measurable results

  • Team-oriented approach with ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet stakeholder expectations and deadlines across multiple projects

  • Ability to interact and communicate across a variety of stakeholder groups (technical subject matter experts to business owners), with ability to present complex information in easily understandable format and tailored to the audience

  • Strong persuasive skills and ablity to gain consensus through influence

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills; flexibility and adaptability

  • Strong project management skills

  • Solid knowledge of how to leverage events, sponsorships, social, digital, comms, and PR within omni-channel campaign development

  • Executive presence, professional client service manner, demonstrated ability to take initiative

  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team, experience in a large corporate setting and/or professional services a plus

  • Ability to think both strategically and execute tactically

  • Passion for and interest in B2B Marketing

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field; Advanced degrees preferred

  • Travel up to 10%

  • For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 95,500-159,165.

  • You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
