Strategic Analytics specializes in providing a forward-looking perspective and helping leadership make key business decisions. This role is responsible for building and supporting a range of analytical and predictive modeling projects that drive strategic objectives and improve business performance.
Good communication, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills are required to be successful in this role. This role creates great value for the business by supporting large scale initiatives and creating world class analytic products that will be integral in leadership decisions.
Create large scale, data science products that leverage data transformation and machine learning models
Balance the complexity of data, coding/visualization platforms, and client demands to develop first class tools and insights for leadership
Automate and streamline projects to increase efficiencies and scalability
Brainstorm for alternative procedures and processing to optimize our interaction with data and find new insights for deliverables
Work with Deloitte's businesses and Enabling Areas to support key business functions
Strategic Analytics partners with the Businesses' and Enabling Areas' strategic & operational leaders to tackle analytics related to clients & go to market, finance, and talent. The team provides rapid, meaningful impact by combining core consulting and advanced analytical skills to improve business performance.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with focus on advanced analytics and predictive modeling
Experience working on multiple projects at once
Deep knowledge about machine learning algorithms such as random forests, clustering, logistic regression, etc.
Advanced coding experience in at least one language (Python, R, SQL)
Strong experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or related field
Advanced experience in one or more of the following: Dataiku, DataRobot, Spark, Databricks, UiPath
Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or related field
