Senior Manager: Manufacturing Strategy & Smart Operations / Supply Chain & Network Operations (Enterprise Ops)
Work you ll do
Consulting- Sr. Manager:
Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk
Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point- of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals
People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices
Supply Chain Networks
Our Supply Chain Networks team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive advantages. We drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. We advise, implement, and operate transformational solutions that bring world-class supply network and operational capabilities to our clients. We provide operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions to deliver unprecedented client value. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through M&A events.
A minimum of 8-10 years consulting and/or industry experience is required, with the ability to travel up to 100%.
8-10 years of technical architecture and design leadership roles
Understanding of automation ecosphere, partners and technologies
Experience leading large complex teams and individuals in a management role
In touch with industry trends and where the market and technology are pointing
Exposure to concepts in the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) space
Five years of experience leading project teams between 35-100 technical practitioners including project P&L
Five years leading teams in delivering RFP and presenting to clients
Have led two or more large controls projects engagements and been in a leadership position in at least one of them
Strong focus in either process or discrete industries
Strong emphasis on ability to understand communications systems (Ethernet, ModBus, OPC)
Experience working with either DCS/SCADA/PLC platforms.
A Bachelors Degree is required
In addition, successful Senior Managers will also have the following preferred skills:
The ability to work independently, as well as manage small to mid-size engagements and/or parts of large engagements and their resources.\
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation and documentation skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc).
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
An advanced degree is preferred.
