Work you'll do
This position will be working in a team that is responsible for engineering end user computing solutions from concept to implementation. This role includes defining, building and operating solutions for our end user compute function. The ideal candidate must have a strong interest and capacity to learn new technologies. Designed hardware and software solutions will meet stated requirements and needs, and will focus on the following areas: (1) design management systems that deploy software and patches/updates, deploy imaging systems, manage configurations and policies for desktops/laptops/VMs, deliver security policies, perform data backups, gather data and inventory of assets, and monitor end user experience; (2) create applications/packages/scripts that deliver software or settings for end users and technical staff; and (3) set hardware standards for laptops, desktops and peripherals. This role provides third level support for hardware, software and systems environments and collaborates with other ITS and functional teams in US and global firms.

The Technology Support Services (TSS) team is ITS's first line of contact with personnel. Providing walk-up support, asset management, PC compliance, and mobile devices support, TSS provides hands-on support to Deloitte employees.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT role along with specialized knowledge and/or experience in the end user technology environment. Experience should involve reviewing and running software installs and system configurations, deploying software and policies, testing scripts/packages/software, supporting, troubleshooting and use of deployment/management systems within an end user environment.
This role also requires experience in creation of documentation and processes and proven capabilities in technical writing
Advanced knowledge of Windows OS and/or Mac OS, including life cycle management and root cause analysis using advanced diagnostic tools such as Sysinternals Suite. (Knowledge of Linux is a plus)
Understanding of systems-based management/monitoring/endpoint protection software such as SCCM, Cylance, Privilege Management and Nexthink.
Understanding of how Group Policy and Preferences work in OS environments.
Knowledge and understanding of virtual workstation environments.
Substantial experience with problem solving in complex system and network infrastructures, with a focus on ensuring a positive end user experience.
Familiarity with cloud-based solutions.
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office 365/ProPlus.
Strong technical grasp of strategic platforms such as Microsoft, Networks and Security, WAN, LAN.
Knowledge of Active Directory/SCCM/Intune.
Solid networking knowledge, including LANs, WANs, Routers, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate, share the workload, and provide direction to team resources.
Collaborative, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced and US/global oriented team.
