We are seeking candidates with outstanding leadership experience, strong academic performance, and excellent communication skills to join our Government & Public Services practice.

Work You'll Do

As an Analyst, you will be an integral member of a client service team, collaborating with diverse and talented team members to help solve multidimensional problems, improve performance, and generate value for our clients. You can capitalize on our cross-industry presence to find your niche and build your individual brand within the organization. This person should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate findings.

Actuarial Analyst

  • This Analyst builds financial & mathematical models that can improve organizational performance and help clients make informed business decisions. This Analyst also advises clients on complex business problems by interpreting large data sets using statistical methods to quantify risk. Majors : Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics

Required Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a full-time academic program with a target graduation date by August 2025 or a Bachelor's Degree in these or related areas of study : Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

  • Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required, 3.4 cumulative GPA preferred)

  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Must live within a commutable distance to your assigned office (e.g. 100 mile radius) with the ability to commute daily, if required, upon start date

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York state, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York state, and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,000 to $91,000.
