US Technology Strategy & Partnerships is a growing focus area within Deloitte. We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to help drive strategy projects that will have significant impact on our organization. This role sits within our Ecosystems & Alliances Strategy team and will provide exposure to a wide range of growth strategy projects and market leaders, working across the Firm's four businesses (i.e., Advisory, Audit, Consulting & Tax).
Our team's mission is to identify and architect initiatives that drive growth and value creation with our clients and alliance partners - the largest technology firms in the world. Example projects include the development of new growth plays with key partners (e.g. Amazon, Google, Salesforce), business model analysis for joint solutions, and ecosystem development to accelerate impactful industry growth plays.
In this role, you will help to create business unit-level alliance portfolio strategies, conduct buy/build/partner assessments for emerging technology domains (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, 5G/Edge Computing), evaluate new business models and shape operating model design.
Lead and support development of actionable strategies to drive technology-led growth across select businesses, industries, market offerings and focus areas
Conduct market and competitive analysis, synthesize insights, and develop recommendations
Develop quantitative models for market sizing, business cases, scenario analysis
Research and analyze emerging business and operating models; apply to address business problem under development and/or opportunities
Contribute to the development of strategy storyboards and messaging to different executive stakeholders
Work with key stakeholder groups to gain buy-in on summary analysis and recommendations
Develop executive presentations and content for working sessions with senior leaders
2+ years' experience with a top-tier consulting firm in strategy, or within corporate or business unit strategy function
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Master's Degree strongly preferred.
3+ years' experience in management consulting or corporate/business unit strategy function working across several aspects of strategy (e.g., analyzing technology trends, business and operating model design, quantitative models to support business cases)
Strong strategy development skills including quantitative modeling, primary and secondary research and analysis, logical choice structuring, and storytelling
Demonstrated record of applying critical thinking, market and competitive analysis, business model analysis, and/or scenario planning
Experience with quantitative analysis and data visualization tools
Track record of written communication and presentations to executives
Collegial team player who can work collaboratively and independently
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,425 to $159,165.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
