Work you'll do

  • Provide quality assurance by validating a wide range of business processes, screen-level changes, logic and calculation processing, and data changes in a complex public facing system

  • Analyze and provide solution to low complexity and routine computer issues

  • Establish clear communication channels for feedback from customers, peers, and cross functional teams

  • Identify new solutions for improved processes, as well as develop cost/benefit analysis for business solutions

  • Make certain that technology solutions adhere to quality standards

  • Collaborate with the project teams to review or inspect work to guarantee their quality.

The GPS Human Services Transformation offering designs and implements large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies as well as higher education institutions. With end-users, customers, and workers at the center, we collaborate with our clients to deliver quality human services and work to support individuals in need. Some areas that we focus on include Children Services, Eligibility & Enrollment, Child Support Enforcement, and Labor & Workforce Development.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • 3+ years of experience working on large-scale system projects

  • 3+ years of experience in writing clear and re-usable test scripts/scenarios, executing test scenarios, and documenting system defects using a test management tool

  • Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Must be open to relocation or local to the Minnesota area

Preferred:

  • Experience as a skilled tester to analyze and validate code for new and updated functionality

  • Strong ability to create data queries, validate database tables, and validate documented logic is essential

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Strong team work abilities
