Deloitte Manager, Risk & Brand Protection in Midland, Michigan

Work you'll do:

In this interesting and diverse role, you will have access to risk and business leaders, including subject matter experts. Given the importance of effectively managing risk across the Deloitte US firms, you will be involved with helping to proactively identify, mitigate, manage, and monitor risks. This role offers exciting opportunities for professional growth and contribution to strategic US initiatives. In this role,

  • You will assist in reviewing business communications to identify potential risks and help ensure compliance with Deloitte policies

  • You will help to proactively identify and manage risks for the Deloitte US Firms.

  • You will be involved with various strategic initiatives, including cross-business priorities (e.g., engagement with various Centers/groups, reviewing communications).

  • You will help develop resource materials, risk frameworks, and communications relating to key risk initiatives

  • You will help create and review policies and guidance

  • You will help support specific National Risk initiatives, including collaborating with a variety of other groups/teams across Deloitte

  • You will assist in evaluating and developing process improvements and identifying best practices

  • You will help manage strategic initiatives and coordinate risk activities.

  • You will work with other risk leaders in the regular reporting of the status of risk activities.

    This position will be part of the Risk & Brand Protection organization under our Chief Risk Officer.

    Qualifications

    Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Excellent consultative, communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to operate in a demanding executive level environment

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively work collaboratively with teams

  • Excellent time management and related organizational skills, including appropriate sense of urgency and a proactive approach

  • Ability to work well under pressure: strong professional judgement, responsiveness, accuracy, and sense of urgency are essential to this role

  • Highly collaborative work ethic with demonstrated agility and strong teaming skills

  • Excellent project management, organizational and time management skills

  • Limited travel required, less than 5%

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,425 to $159,165.

    You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
