Smart Factory PMO Lead - Senior Consultant
As part of a broad Smart Factory strategy, Deloitte and Wichita State University have partnered to create an immersive and cutting-edge experience center at The Smart Factory @ Wichita. The innovative space will be designed for customized, interactive client experiences, and will be furnished with Industry 4.0 technologies - the application of physical and digital technologies from startups and leading manufacturing hardware and software solution providers, in pursuit of enhanced performance and value (however defined). Additionally, Deloitte is creating a market-leading Smart Factory software product, which is also being used at The Smart Factory @ Wichita.
Are you an experienced and passionate self-starter looking for an opportunity to oversee the responsibility of day-to-day management and operational planning, and to provide support to cross-team leadership for Deloitte's Smart Factory? If so, we are currently seeking a PMO Lead to support the Smart Factory Product Leadership team.
Work you'll do
Provide direct business management support to the Smart Factory Product leadership team
Tackle special projects of a strategic nature with discretion, optimism, and attention to detail
Structure the work of a team of professionals and coordinate closely with other senior leaders to drive product strategy
Establish and operate a program PMO
Enable program success by identifying, tracking, and aiding key success factors
Apply critical thinking to solve issues and mitigate risks at the program level
Oversee the program budget and financial reporting, supported by our Finance team.
Ensure that the program complies with reporting standards and coordinates with key groups
Play a key role in integrating with Risk & Financial Advisory (RFA) by managing the associated staff, budget, and services
Manage the vision and execution alignment between program teams
Technical background in developing solutions or implementing technology strategy
5+ years experience with Agile Scrum, asset strategy and development, program operations, and executive communications
Demonstrated expertise with multiple portfolio lifecycles across business strategy, design, implementation, delivery, and compliance
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with ambiguity and solving complex problems
Ability to execute on projects and strong reputation for "getting things done"
Identifies and prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced, startup-like atmosphere
Travel expectation 10-20%
Experience working for or closely with startups, accelerators, venture capitalists, or similar organizations
Demonstrated interest in emerging technology trends (or the firm's signature issues) and how they can be incorporated into new Consulting offerings
Strong ability to craft strategic messaging for various stakeholder audiences including corporate and government clients, startups, accelerators, and Consulting staff, PMDs and executives
Diplomacy and patience required to drive strategic change in a massive, decentralized firm
