Deloitte US Document Management Services Senior Specialist in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Work you'll do

The Document Management Services Senior Specialist is responsible for executing document support processes for foreign national employees and certain alumni in to ensure internal and regulatory compliance. This role will involve the application of immigration and program knowledge to execute the provision of documents needed for STEM OPT/CPT or employment verification.

  • Support end-to-end processes related to document support for F-1 student visa holders (e.g., I-983s, CPT agreements), employment verification letters needed by US professionals and alumni for immigration purposes, document requests from alumni and current employees, PPMD citizenship/immigration status annual updates, and other internal immigration programs that may arise, to ensure internal and regulatory compliance. This includes gathering information, conducting data lookups, preparing letters/agreements, reviewing with OGC, coordinating signatures, issuing letters, etc.

  • Respond to questions and provide information to foreign nationals

  • Serve as signatory for EVLs and CPT letters (per OGC this must be a US employee of Deloitte Services)

  • Serve as signatory for CPT agreements and STEM OPT forms when authorization given by business signatory

  • Escalate red flag issues to the Program Lead and/or Internal Programs Manager

The team

The Immigration Programs & Strategy Team is part of the Talent Immigration organization of Deloitte Services LP. This team is responsible for supporting the needs of our foreign national practitioners across all businesses. This includes the development and delivery of strategic immigration programs, as well as strategic projects to enhance the immigration experience of our foreign national practitioners.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of related experience

  • Strong written communication skills and ability to translate complex legal concepts into layman's terms

  • Advanced competency in core professional skills, especially attention to detail, responsiveness, follow-through, flexibility, initiative, and tact

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with large teams

  • Ability to manage and resolve complex and sensitive situations while managing confidential information appropriately and professionally

  • Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong conflict resolution skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence others

  • Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $64,935 - $133,330

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
