Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Mechanicsburg, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Deliver components of client engagements that identify, design and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype and test custom technology solutions and support system implementations. Deploy custom developed applications for clients, including process design, prototyping, code development and review, unit testing, performance testing, configuration, defect management, production deployment and training. Perform current state system analysis, mapping and design. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Perform Continuous Integration code build and release activities. Performing Administration activities for WebSphere, WebLogic and Tomcat servers. Perform fixpack and major version upgrades for Middleware systems. Design and Develop scheduling solutions for Enterprise Application Batches workflow process. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Tracking application defects using defect-tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Gaining exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities. Assessing and diagnosing a problem and analyzing the interactions between key drivers. Developing solutions to client problems through application of personal experience and standard methods and tools. Working across all phases of the SDLC for the design, development , testing and implementation of Enterprise Application solutions for enterprise-level clients. Performing Installation, Configuration and Administration of WebSphere Application Servers on Windows and Linux operating Systems. Working on performance tuning enterprise applications by monitoring JVM Memory Usage, Garbage Collection, Thread Usage, and Response Times, using IBM Tivoli Performance Viewer, WebSphere Application Server Tracing, IBM Thread and Memory Analyzer. Providing automation solutions using to streamline Middleware Administration and Code maintenance client activities utilizing Ant, Maven, Gradle, Groovy, and Shell Script. Performing Build activities, including code maintenance, code delivery, code build, and code deployment using IBM RAD, ClearCase, and WebSphere. Installing, configuring and maintaining QAT (Quality Assurance Test), UAT (User Acceptance Test), Training, Staging and Production WebSphere Application Server environments, and performing troubleshooting activities for Production issues using Log Analyzer, Profilers, and Heap Analyzers. Providing Development and Administration solutions using tools, including Version Control Systems (SVN, ClearCase), Defect Tracking Systems (JIRA, ClearQuest), Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Bamboo) and Batch Scheduler (BMC Control M).

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.

  • One year of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have one year of experience with:

  • Working across all phases of the SDLC for the design, development, testing and implementation of Enterprise Application solutions for enterprise-level clients;

  • Performing Installation, Configuration and Administration of WebSphere Application Servers on Windows and Linux operating Systems;

  • Working on performance tuning enterprise applications by monitoring JVM Memory Usage, Garbage Collection, Thread Usage, and Response Times, using IBM Tivoli Performance Viewer, WebSphere Application Server Tracing, IBM Thread and Memory Analyzer;
