Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Mechanicsburg, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You ll Do
Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Write functional and technical system requirements and use cases, create process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Assessing and diagnosing a problem and analyzing the interactions between key drivers. Developing solutions to client problems through application of personal experience and standard methods and tools. Designing, developing, and testing configuration solutions.
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.
One year of experience as a Solution Specialist, QA Analyst, or a related occupation.
Must have one year of experience with:
Gathering user requirements by reviewing Business Requirement Documentation (BRD) and Customer Requirements Documentation (CRD) documents and User Stories in Confluence and creating high level custom test details in HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Test-Rail;
Creating test plans, test suites, test cases and test steps in Quality Center, TestRail and test summary documents according to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards;
Analyzing technical defects, retesting bugs fixed and closing the Change Request defects using JIRA and TestRail;
Performing Integration and Regression Testing on Representational State Transfer (REST) web services using Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP UI) and Postman;
Writing the Structured Query Language (SQL) query in PL/SQL and Oracle database to test the mobile application functional and service scenarios;
Validating test scenarios of the application build through HockeyApp using Android and iOS devices;
Testing client mobile applications using different networks and internet speeds to test end-user accessibility.
15% travel required.
