Work you ll do/Responsibilities

Working in a team environment, this position is responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, maintaining Cloud and related infrastructure. This includes virtual servers, storage, and networking components.

The Sr. Solution Specialist also supports or leads capacity planning, explores new technologies, leads process improvement efforts, and provides new designs that increase our capacity, reliability, security and availability, while moving our organization into the technology future. A Sr. Solution Specialist is expected to lead projects and take initiative to solve problems with minimal direction.

Responsibilities:

Working with clients to determine their requirements and recommend the best approach to meet their needs.

Participating and leading troubleshooting escalations with customers and deployment teams for support issues.

Design and operations of scalable high-volume systems infrastructure.

Successful delivery of high-quality work products (requirements, design, install, configure, test, maintain, documentation, etc.). This includes review of work products from other staff.

Partner effectively with all team members and leadership to deliver on time.

Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our client s end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.

Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Qualifications

6 years of relevant professional experience in a large, diverse, Active Directory environment.

Expert knowledge with Windows Server 2008R2/2012 Operating systems.

MCSE 2008/2012 required. MCSE Private Cloud, CISSP, CCNA or similar industry certifications preferred

Demonstrate expert experience with architecting, implementing and administering 2008R2/2012 Active Directory multi-domain forest in a multi-tenant/vendor cloud environment

Expert knowledge with best practices for hardening an Active Directory forest and associated technologies, AD performance and security monitoring, reporting and capacity management

Demonstrate expert knowledge with Active Directory Upgrades and migrations.

Active Directory Administration including user/computer management, group policy creation/management of multi-forest environment

WSUS configuration and patch management processes

Creating a process for deploying automated deployment and configuration of systems into the environment.

Developing ansible playbooks to automate tasks.

Evaluating products that can help improve productivity and efficiency within the environment.

Performing routine AWS infrastructure tasks like: Updating security groups, adding routes, taking and restoring systems from snapshot, etc.

Working with different teams to advice and/or assist with application deployment methods

Install, maintain, upgrade Windows 2012/2016

Manage file system and access controls

Manage system performance and capacity planning

Understands/adheres to and implement security policies

Creating and updating documentation for processes and

Preferred ability and discipline to work and succeed in a fast pace and organizationally complex environment, to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology, and to lead and manage projects

Must be living or willing to relocate within a commutable distance to Mechanicsburg, PA

Travel up to 25%, only if needed based on project

Preferred

Familiar with consulting methodologies, tools and services

Working with different cloud business models

Working knowledge of ITIL and/or agile methodologies
