ETL Solution Specialist LaborWise - USDC
As an ETL Solution Specialist for LaborWise, you will have the opportunity to use your ETL experience and analytics skills to solve real world client issues that help uncover hidden savings within their time and attendance system. Bring your troubleshooting and debug skills to solve for variations in datasets and deliver solutions that improve the process from one client to the next.
Based out of our US Delivery Centers in Orlando Florida or Gilbert Arizona, you will work with the Deloitte Consulting organization to design, develop and build solutions to help clients reimagine, reshape and rewire the competitive fabric of entire industries. If not local to one of these locations, we can help by providing relocation assistance depending on how far you are moving.
Our centers house a multitude of specialists, ranging from systems designers, architects and integrators, to creative digital experts, to cyber risk and human capital professionals. All work together on diverse projects from advanced preconfigured solutions and methodologies, to brand-building and campaign management. The US Delivery Center supports a collaborative team culture where we work and live close to home with limited travel.
Work you ll do
Serve as a technical expert of the client data extracts and the LaborWise data model
Communicate with client systems analysts to explain the data need and transformations required
Validate data extracts with client and functional team
Developing custom ETL transformations based on clients data and requirements
Iterate changes and automate where possible
Performing initial triage of ETL issues and conducting root-cause analysis
Answering project team emails, documenting client issues and requests, communicating resolutions to the client/project team
Prioritizing issues, then managing and tracking incident resolution through the overall process
Ability to deliver high quality work under tight timelines
4 years of related experience with ETL transformation tools such as Excel, Informatica, SSIS, and SQL
Run, debug, and configure Python scripts
Basic database administration skills such as optimization and data model design
experience in analytics and business intelligence preferred
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Strong understanding of data modeling, data flows, and system architecture
Ability to travel up to 20%
Must be located in one of the USDC offices (Orlando, FL Gilbert, AZ (Phoenix) Mechanicsburg, PA)
