Work you'll doAs a Communications Developer in the practice of Deloitte's USDC, you will perform the following job responsibilities:

Support communication plans/strategy and execution of project requirements, client style & tone, goals, dates and more for government clients
Ensure plans are accurate, align with industry standards and incorporate Deloitte's best practices
Support audits of existing campaign assets and utilize a content style guide that includes tone of voice, glossary and guidelines
Assist in the Define, building and implementation of enhancements to processes, systems and structure of the content strategy craft
Participate in interviews and other fact-finding research and synthesize findings into key points
Work with a communications lead to support communications workstreams from initial client meetings through development, review, revision, production, distribution, and evaluation
Identify and recommend creative ideas to deliver on strategic goals
Execute communications campaigns, including awareness, branding, launch, social, and more
Develop customized solutions and draft documents utilizing strong skills in problem solving, grammar, punctuation and attention to detail
Leverage data and content strategy knowledge to transform historical assets into new solutions for communication delivery
Create a broad range of communication materials across multiple communication channels, including print, digital, multimedia, social networks, and web
Develop creative, engaging, well-designed communications materials to meet client goals through the use of various advertising and marketing principles such as: emails, newsletters, infographics, podcasts, video scripts, responsive email templates, social media posts, website wireframes and other digital/multimedia communications
Work with designers to develop graphic identities and approaches
Balance multiple assignments and schedule workload to meet established deadlines
Keep abreast of communication and industry trends
Contribute to practice development, including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree completed by August 2025 in these or related areas of study:
Communications, Journalism, English, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or other related field or equivalent experience
Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.0)
Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Gilbert, AZ; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations
Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Must be able to obtain the required level of security clearance for this role
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred:
Familiarity and awareness of the communications field
Project management support and workplan support experience
Risk and issue management support experience
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
Ability to think creatively and conceptually, with a passion for storytelling
Strong creative, writing, editing, organizational and planning skills and a willingness to learn from others
Exposure to change management and communication strategies
Presentation experience and understanding of digital, print and video communication channels
Strong attention to detail, time management and follow through
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
