Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.
The GPS Strategy offering leads strategic planning & portfolio management and reporting & monitoring workstreams. This includes day-to-day client interaction and leads to the creation of relevant resources and materials (such as strategic plans, roadmaps, etc.) and work products (such as development of performance metrics, tracking dashboards, etc.) in order to successfully implement client vision.
The work you'll do:
You will play a key role in advising clients on leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive mission impact, innovation, and competitive advantage. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives that capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities in the technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities and risks for clients.
Engage with clients to understand their mission objectives, challenges, and opportunities related to emerging technologies, and develop tailored strategies and solutions to address their needs.
Lead and support strategic planning workshops, brainstorming sessions, and ideation workshops to facilitate the development of innovative technology-driven initiatives and solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to assess the feasibility, scalability, and impact of emerging technologies on client organizations' operations, products, and services.
Develop mission use cases, impact analyses, and implementation roadmaps to guide clients in making informed decisions about adopting and integrating emerging technologies into their business strategies.
Provide thought leadership and industry insights to clients through presentations and leadership workshops on emerging technology trends, best practices, and case studies.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building and nurturing relationships at all levels of the organization, and providing strategic guidance and support throughout the technology adoption lifecycle.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, innovation trends, and international developments, and market dynamics to continuously enhance expertise and provide strategic guidance to clients.
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's degree required
4+ years of Strategy, Analysis, or Government Consulting experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance required for this role
Ability to work 100% onsite in Chantilly, VA
Preferred:
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information, identify trends, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
Demonstrated expertise in assessing the mission impact and strategic implications of emerging technologies across industries and verticals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences, including executives, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to support multiple deliverables, workshops, and interviews, and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving client needs and market trends.
