US Consulting Sales Excellence, Process Excellence and Innovation, Enabling Consultant
Location: Any US Consulting Office (partial work from home available, if desired)
Deloitte Consulting is seeking to hire an experienced professional who has a passion for innovating business processes and operations. The individual will join our Sales Excellence organization as a member of our Sales Innovation team. Our mission is to continually innovate the way we identify, sell, pursue and win client engagements.
Work You'll Do
You will work directly with the Sales Innovation leadership team to help design and deliver programs and services across the pursuit and sales lifecycle. In addition to learning about business-to-business sales, you will learn valuable skills ranging from sales strategy, business process design, robotic process automation, natural language processing / generation, artificial intelligence, and human behavior. Specifically, you will:
Lead and support strategic sales innovation projects
Drive and partner with technology teams focused on customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Learn and develop assets and tools our senior leaders can use when pursuing our largest and most strategic client opportunities
Focus on transforming information into insights and actionable decisions
Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations that will ultimately drive growth in the sales practice and provide a high level of service to the Consulting practice and leaders
Contribute to the diversity, equity and inclusion of our team and its culture
Become a strategic advisor to the Sales Innovation leadership team
The U.S. Consulting Sales Excellence (SE) practice serves the Industries, Offering Portfolios and account teams in driving sales success. SE owns the sales life cycle from Pursuit Coaching to Closing the Deal. Services housed in SE include: the Sales Executive organization, the Pursuit Center of Excellence (PCOE), Proposal Factory, Pricing & Commercial Deal Support (PCDS), Competitive Intelligence, and the Science of Winning.
The team member will be aligned to the Consulting Professional National Office, comprised of professionals with various areas of focus that collectively provide mission critical services to support Consulting's overall success. Whether focused on project financials, quality and risk management, methods and tools, sales excellence, talent, leadership support, or other activities, these professionals ensure that our Firm operates efficiently and that our people can effectively serve clients every day. Our new Operating Model formalizes these functions so that we can continue to enhance their quality while providing our professionals a consistent talent experience and opportunities for growth.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years consulting and/or industry experience
Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Sound decision making in complex situations
