PeopleSoft Engineer

The PeopleSoft Engineer will support the PMO Systems Engineering and Architecture activities and processes to include the architecture, engineering analysis, design, and engineering plans and processes to achieve the client's program objectives and meet the associated Defense Acquisition Program requirements. They will also identify, assess, and track program metrics for quality assurance of engineering and architecture performance.

The resource will support Systems Engineering and Architecture in the following activities:

  • Monitor sites for new standards, regulations, policies, etc. and recommend changes as deemed necessary.

  • Review and provide impact analysis of the related architectural artifacts, technical requests for information, and compliance inputs.

  • Provide support to IT portfolio management and compliance efforts by assisting the program with regular updates.

  • Assist the program in reviewing systems engineering Contract Deliverables Requirements List (CDRLs).

  • Provide oversight support to the program.

  • Support of technical reviews (e.g., Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, In Progress Reviews, etc.) to include development of reports, recommendations, analysis and risk mitigation plans prior to or after the reviews.

  • Support the Government in the review of SI deliverable documents, development and management of milestone deliverable documents such as the Information Support Plan (ISP), the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), and Program Protection Plan (PPP).

  • Assist the Government in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Systems Engineering processes (e.g. change control processes, agile processes, etc.).

  • Creation and maintenance of program metrics, including but not limited to tracking Key Performance Parameters (KPPs).

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of three (2) years of experience

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Must have Secret Security Clearance

  • Ability to travel onsite to client location in Crystal City, VA on a hybrid basis

  • 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
