Work you'll do

The Esri ArcGIS Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Proficient in the Esri ArcGIS Platform suite (including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Online)

  • Developing and ongoing configuration of needed geospatial mapping visualizations (including tailored base maps and purpose driven GIS web applications)

  • Supporting the creation of needed model inputs, normalizing multiple data sets, and streamlining data pipelines using automated means.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related field

  • 1+ year of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas - geospatial analytics or public sector consulting

  • Proficiency in the ArcGIS Software Suite (ArcGIS Pro, Desktop, and ArcGIS Online)

  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools

  • Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication, design development, and debugging skills

  • Maintain and support application(s) according to changing business/mission requirements

Desired:

  • Graduate degree

  • One of more relevant certifications

  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise (Server / Portal) and Server extensions

  • Experience developing geospatial related applications in multiple languages/ protocols (JavaScript, HTML5, Python, SQL, JSON, XML, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of relational database managements systems and commercial cloud providers.

  • Experience developing wireframes
