More about the Deloitte Digital Risk Manager (Enabling Manager / Senior Manager) Role: Deloitte Consulting LLP s Quality and Risk Management group is seeking Risk Managers who will be responsible for supporting various Deloitte Consulting practices. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with delivering and managing complex technology implementation and service contracts with a good knowledge of the types of risks and issues faced in delivery of technology services plus ways to address and minimize potential negative impacts. This professional will support statement of work review, contracting, negotiations, and delivery execution for risks/issues associated with providing Digital services. Work You ll Do General duties include:Guidance and support to senior business leaders within the firm Is responsible for advising practice leadership on potential quality and risk management issues within the Deloitte Digital Service Line;Provides guidance on risk mitigation strategies, statement of work / contract formation and contract / project management practices;Facilitates internal compliance with contract terms, risk management policies and procedures, and management directives.Works with Digital leadership and various groups to develop and deliver training to the Digital practice as well as QRM colleagues around best practices and new / emerging risks and issuesWorks with Consulting Methods and Tools group to develop tools & methods, and oversee their implementation and improvementsWork closely with the Office of General Counsel to provide support and guidance to deal teams from conception through project close.Work with Office of the General Counsel to advise the business and provide general guidance as legal and risk issues come up in day to day business activities. ProposalsFacilitates engagement review process for higher risk engagements and participates in pricing decisions;Consults with firm Principals and Managing Directors on Requests For Proposals, Teaming Agreements, and other types of relationships (e.g. alliances);Conducts Deal Review Board consultations for selected higher risk engagements prior to proposal submission;Helps interpret contract requirements and obligations and provides ongoing guidance to engagement teams. Contract FormationAdvises engagement teams in the development of professional services contracts with a primary focus on reducing and mitigating delivery and contractual risks associated with the services being provided by Deloitte Digital;Professional services contracts include Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Engagement Letters, Professional Services Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and other similar or related agreements. Contract / Project ManagementHelps interpret requirements of the contract;Advises engagement teams on implementing good project management practices to help meet our contractual obligations;Analyze and assess potential impacts associated with contract delivery risks;Provides guidance to reduce project risks, adjust contract requirements to accommodate changing project circumstances, and manage stakeholder expectations to contractual obligations and agreed upon performance standards.Work with Digital/QRM/other leadership and project teams to identify, escalate as necessary and help resolve quality issues for the Digital service line Qualifications: Understands fully the sequence and services required to deliver technology implementation projects including various dependencies and other ancillary services Experience in writing and reviewing SOWs with a focus on incorporating actionable and measurable guidance to address specific risks around delivery execution Experience in reviewing and advising on approaches to set up and maintain project management discipline in agile, waterfall and hybrid of the two environments Experience in addressing scope management and change control processes with our clients as well as managing changes/impacts in an agile environment Ability to develop relationships quickly and work closely with executive leadership to understand specific risks/issues and provide guidance and mitigation strategies Education: BBA/BA/BS in related field, Masters Degree is desirable Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 - 10 years of technology delivery and implementation services, direct contract management experience Location: Flexible Travel Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30%, flexibility required based on candidate location and role Other Preferred Skills: Experience advising project teams on risk issues, promoting use of tools, templates and methods to increase delivery consistency Experience in supporting contracting and negotiations for technology implementation services Experience developing and delivering training to senior executives on specific deal structures, contract development, and delivery quality especially in agile environments Experience identifying systemic issues/risks within a portfolio of projects and working with relevant parties to develop and deliver applicable training to the practice Experience in Consulting field and a professional partnership desirable Experience in RFP analysis, including contract terms and conditions Experience and ability to work directly with senior level individuals (internally and externally) Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to handle fast paced, multi-task environment Ability to work autonomously How You ll GrowAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
