As a Summer Associate Consultant on our Supply Chain team you'll work side-by-side with innovative and strategic thought leaders and stay ahead of the rapidly evolving world of business. You'll help clients transform their value chains into competitive advantages by driving proactive insights and decision making, and you'll tackle our clients' most complex business issues.

Work You'll Do

As a Summer Associate Consultant, you'll work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client-facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interview, formulating and making recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions.

Supply Chain and Network Operations (SCNO)

SCNO Consultants will work across a wide variety of industries and teams on activities such as the following:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies (people, process, technology, analytics, etc.) across the end-to-end value chain to help our client's grow their business, achieve cost and margin targets, and improve customer experience

  • Transform the "heart of the business" and advise clients on leading practices, standardized procedures and latest tools for global operation

  • Build policies, practices, and procedures for complex value chains

  • Help clients innovate and evolve their current business models and customer experiences by leveraging advanced analytics, digital, and cognitive technologies

  • Manage workstreams on large-scale projects in a collaborative environment with client and Deloitte team members


  • Master's Degree in process (with expected graduation no later than Spring/Summer 2025) in these or related areas of study:

  • Supply Chain

  • Operations Research

  • Logistics

  • Manufacturing

  • Engineering

  • Computer Science

  • Business Analytics and Information Management

  • Management and Data Science (e.g., machine learning, applied statistics)

  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain Strategy, Supply Chain Analytics, Supply Chain Planning/S&OP, Sourcing & Procurement, Product Development, Product Commercialization, Logistics & Distribution, or Lean Operations/Smart Manufacturing/Manufacturing Engineering

  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel

  • Technical proficiency in Tableau, SQL, MS Access, Python and/or R, Internet of Things

  • General understanding of programming languages and agile software development life cycles

  • Ability to travel 50%

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate is $2,210/week.
