Work you'll do

Description

Candidate will join a team of high-performing data scientists and data engineers to deliver cutting-edge analytics for high-visibility national security missions. Candidate will support building and maintaining the data ecosystem, which includes everything from building data sources and databases, implementing robust data pipelines, and creating data storage solutions.

Candidate must have the ability to understand and implement data systems to optimize data delivery architecture and ensure consistency throughout ongoing projects. Candidate should have experience managing large-scale processing systems where performance and scalability issues need continuous maintenance. Candidate should have a strong understanding of data science concepts and ML frameworks/libraries.

Qualifications

Required :

Bachelor's degree

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Must be able to maintain the required security clearance for this role -active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Proficiency in Python and relational datastores

Strong understanding of AWS cloud environments and relevant data engineering services

Preferred:

Position is located in Chantilly VA

Expertise in distributed frameworks like Spark and Polars
