Deloitte Project and Portfolio Management Lead in Madison, Wisconsin

Work you'll do

  • Manage several analysts who serve as project managers for projects within the broader account portfolio

  • Oversee project management processes, including project planning, budgeting, reporting, and release governance

  • Support project time documentation and invoicing processes

  • Identify and implement project management process/deliverable enhancements

  • Attend key internal and client-facing portfolio planning meetings and support meeting preparation/follow-up

  • Lead state fiscal year planning efforts, including pipeline planning

  • Support of special projects in coordination with project leadership and/or other team leads

  • IT Project management

  • Portfolio management

Qualifications

Required:

  • PMP Certification preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft excel, word, and PowerPoint

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)

  • Prior project management experience required, with large, complex IT project experience preferred (SDLC)

  • Prior agile project management experience/exposure preferred

  • Prior team management experience (formal or informal) preferred

  • Strong peer leadership and upward feedback skills

  • Eagerness to drive and implement process enhancements and think creatively/outside of the box

  • Prior change management experience preferred

  • Detail-oriented

  • Ability to adapt to evolving needs of the day

  • Willingness and interest in working in a team environment
