Work you ll do

Deloitte Consulting is looking for a seasoned workforce management professional that routinely translates complex business issues into solutions. This individual will be able to assess, design, and articulate how the workforce is and should be operating. By combining industry, technology and process know-how the Workforce and Labor Cost Advisor- Manager and his/her team solve strategic, financial and operational problems. The Workforce and Labor Cost Advisor- Manager brings a wealth of knowledge into conversations with client leaders and establishes long standing relationships. The Workforce and Labor Cost Advisor- Manager helps others identify, plan, implement and deliver cost effective, transformational labor management. The role brings the breadth of the world s leading consulting firm s capabilities by assembling teams of human capital and technology specialists to help clients optimize their workforce management operating model and align with the future of work.

As a Workforce and Labor Cost Advisor- Manager , you should expect to be involved in the following :

  • Navigate the client effectively

  • Establish relationships with senior clients (Director/VP - level)

  • Identify new business within existing clients while establishing business new clients

  • Lead/manage more than one person/team including third party team members

  • Design work plans for large complex global engagements, owning risk, budget, resources, client relationship, change, deliverables, etc.

  • Manage and deliver

  • Craft your brand based on your differentiated and measurable client/firm impact

  • Develop solutions that extend from vision and pre-sales thru delivery to operate models

  • Leverage proprietary firm tools and products to deliver a unique solution

Qualifications

Required:

  • 6 years' related experience

  • Consulting experience required

  • Superior knowledge of the WFM function & processes

  • Experience with workforce management software such as Infor, Workforce Software, Kronos, ADP eTime, or Ceridian suite of time and attendance software and system infrastructure

  • Experience in two or more of the following areas: Workforce Management, labor cost optimization, process design, policy harmonization, workforce analytics, project management, workshop facilitation

  • Experience leading requirements gathering workshops and/or facilitating meetings of mixed stakeholder groups across HR, Finance, IT, and Operations

  • Experience leading the vendor selection process (client and supplier sides) including RFPs, RFIs, scoring and evaluating products and services

  • Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

  • Experience with and desire to mentor junior staff

  • Up to 80% travel required

Preferred:

  • 8 years of related experience

  • Degree strongly preferred

  • Hands on experience with the latest workforce management software platforms (timekeeping, scheduling, activity and absence management and payroll) E.g. Kronos, Infor (Workbrain), Workforce Software, ADP eTime, etc.

  • Ability to create strong presentations and / or business case using MS PowerPoint and Word

  • Ability to estimate resources and effort to assemble a project plan and estimate cost/time

  • External consulting experience with a big consulting firm.
