Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Specialist in Los Angeles, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Provide technology-enabled consulting services to clients. Consult with users, management, clients, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements. Assist management in directing daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines. Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery. Assist in evaluating the organization s technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades. Attend meetings with department heads, managers, supervisors, clients, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. Utilize File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Changeman, Fault Analyzer, Control-M, Expeditor, File-Aid, DB2-File-Aid, Query Management Facility (QMF) and SQL processing using file input (SPUFI) to integrate end-of-life legacy system and mainframe systems into Anthem individual small group (ISG) system. Develop web applications using COBOL, Customer Information Control System (CICS), job control language (JCL), Information Management System database, IMS DC, DB2, SORT, Virtual Storage Access method (VSAM), IDCAMS, ICETOOL and statistical analysis system (SAS). Translate and implement business requirements into software components utilizing COBOL, CICS, JCL, SORT, VSAM, IDCAMS, ICETOOL, SAS and FTP. Prepare functional design, technical design documents by using Microsoft Office Suite. Perform unit, system, integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) using COBOL, JCL, IMS, MQ Series, SOAP UI and SOAP tester. Implement mainframe batch applications and other interfaces utilizing Changeman. Work on Development, Maintenance, and Production Support Projects, as well as Onsite offshore Models and in the Manufacturing, Retail and HealthCare Domain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, MIS, CIS or a related field.

  • Two years of experience providing IT consulting services to clients on behalf of a global consulting company.

  • Must have two years of experience with:

  • Using File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Changeman, Fault Analyzer, Control-M, Expeditor, File-Aid, DB2-File-Aid, Query Management Facility (QMF) and SQL processing using file input (SPUFI) to integrate end-of-life legacy system and mainframe systems into Anthem individual small group (ISG) system;

  • Developing web applications using COBOL, Customer Information Control System (CICS), job control language (JCL), Information Management System database, IMS DC, DB2, SORT, Virtual Storage Access method (VSAM), IDCAMS, ICETOOL and statistical analysis system (SAS);
