Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Specialist in Los Angeles, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Provide technology-enabled consulting services to clients in the healthcare and insurance sectors. Facilitate definition of requirements, use cases, product management, and functional specifications along with validation and testing services for clients. Assist with preparing the estimates required to implement a project through small project sizing, scoping and implementation of all module deliverables. Analyze the risks, establish contingency plans, identify trigger events, and initiate mitigating action. Provide technical leadership ensuring that the project team delivers an integrated business and technology solution that meets clients needs. Work as a team with onsite and offshore technical members as well as functional and business users to achieve project goals and meet project deadlines. Ensure timely and defect free delivery of the project. Participate in various client meetings with business users and the functional team to understand requirements and provide technical assistance to help clients resolve business issues. Develop and modify 834 batch enrollment and online enrollment processes for Individual and Small Group healthcare systems. Implement Small Scale Change Request (SSCR) procedures in Healthcare systems. Prepare the Functional and Technical design for Individual rate renewal automation processes. Modify existing systems to accept Universal File Format files for rate renewal from any Individual enrollment legacy system. Develop COBOL, DB2, IMS and JCL code, prepare Unit Test Plans and perform subsequent review and debugging. Create ETL Mappings and Transformations using Informatica Power Center to move data from multiple sources into target areas. Adjust Informatica Mappings for performance optimization. Schedule Mainframe workflows and monitor jobs using Control M. Perform unit testing and documenting of ETL processes. Provide support in System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and production implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or a related field.

  • Two years of experience providing technology-enabled solutions to clients in the healthcare sector on behalf of a global consulting company.

  • Must have two years of experience with:

  • Developing and modifying 834 batch enrollment and online enrollment processes for Individual and Small Group healthcare systems;

  • Implementing Small Scale Change Request (SSCR) procedures in Healthcare systems;

  • Preparing the Functional and Technical design for Individual rate renewal automation processes;

  • Modifying existing systems to accept Universal File Format files for rate renewal from any Individual enrollment legacy system;
