Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions, M&A in Los Angeles, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You ll Do
Work with clients to improve business performance, drive shareholder value, and create a competitive advantage. Assist clients in making strategic decisions and implement business improvements in areas such as customer relationships, mergers & acquisitions, strategy, financial management and program leadership. Provide advice on complex mergers and acquisitions issues across deal cycles, including M&A Strategy, Commercial Diligence, Operational Diligence, Integration Strategy & Execution, and Functional Integration. Provide advisory services to optimize Technology, Media and Telecommunications portfolio of programs and projects by creating a structured approach to project management. Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions. Interpret data such as price, yield, stability, future trends in risk, and economic influences. Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Develop, maintain and expand senior client relationships and lead consultant and client project teams from project planning through execution. Analyze and operate effectiveness of business processes by testing processes around financial statement line items and provide recommendations to improve weaknesses and enhance business process quality. Manage onshore and offshore team to produce quality deliverables. Plan engagement scopes, project budgets, staffing and manage project economics to ensure maximum project profitability. Analyze large financial data sets, drawing relevant, analytical insights and deliver results to clients and management executives. Examine entitys financial statements to conduct assessment on true and fair value of financials and report to stakeholders, including shareholders, employees and suppliers, customers, banks, regulatory bodies and analysts. Conduct primary and secondary research to gain insights and support analysis and recommendations.
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Business Administration, or a related field.
Five years of progressively responsible experience as a Manager, an Associate or a position in a related occupation.
Must have five years of experience with:
Analyzing and operating effectiveness of business processes by testing processes around financial statement line items and providing recommendations to improve weaknesses and enhance business process quality;
Managing onshore and offshore team to produce quality deliverables;
Planning engagement scopes, project budgets, staffing and managing project economics to ensure maximum project profitability;
Analyzing large financial data sets, drawing relevant, analytical insights and delivering results to clients and management executives;
Examining entitys financial statements to conduct assessment on true and fair value of financials and report to stakeholders, including shareholders, employees and suppliers, customers, banks, regulatory bodies and analysts;
Conducting primary and secondary research to gain insights and support analysis and recommendations.
In the alternative, employer will accept a Master s degree or foreign equivalent in a stated field and three years of experience.

80% travel required.
