If so, we are currently seeking a Product-minded, market-driven leader to steer our M&A/R product portfolio strategy, planning, and technical decisioning.
Work you'll do
As the M&A and Restructuring Product Portfolio Transformation lead, you will drive execution of the integrated M&A/R portfolio strategy and provide hands-on leadership in strategy, planning, technology architecture and related decisioning. You will have ownership of the portfolio roadmap and advise on the delivery and optimization of portfolio products throughout their lifecycles. Partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Solution Architecture and Offering Portfolio leadership, you will balance priorities to ensure seamless end-user experience, high product/market fit and ultimate business growth and success.
Partner with M&A/R product leadership to optimize and execute upon the product portfolio strategyand to help execute upon the firm's growth vision to create a market-leading business
Help M&A/R hybid businesses work through challenges to enable launch, scale and sustainment in market
Serve as knowledgebase, trusted advisor, and consultant for the holistic Product model
Drive strategic planning of all aspects of product, including establishing and delivering on a product portfolio roadmap that is aligned with product/solution leaders and service delivery leaders. Work with product managers, architecture leads, and development leads to execute against plans
Provide product vision and leadership, including envisioning and creating platform blueprints that will support current and future solution offerings
Provide leadership to product and portfolio support teams to ensure best-in-class end-user experience
Glean an understanding of the competitive landscape and define at a detailed level what is needed to differentiate in the market and drive customer adoption and engagement at scale
Evaluate existing technical architecture and vendor partnerships for alignment with core product strategy
Evaluate and advise on new buy/build/partner decisions , with an eye on functional capabilities, technology advantages, and commercial terms
Lead and foster a cohesive community to grow the product and engineering potion of the M&A/R business
Leverage proven frameworks to encourage consistency, predictability and operational efficiencies among the product team
Work hand in hand with M&A/R offering and solutions delivery teams to ensure the architecture, designs, plans and implementations are leading edge and that risks are mitigated
Responsible for overall performance and delivery of the platform(s) and product suite, including achieving product roadmap goals and managing on-time/on-budget/quality performance of the platform/solution
Work with development leads to institute Agile processes that advance rapid delivery of products
Collaborate with Deloitte's ecosystem of technical delivery teams to define effective deployment and support models
Ensure processes are efficient and well engaged/aligned with various stakeholders in other parts of the organization
- Coordinate with adjacent offering portfolios (e.g., Strategy and Analytics, Human Capital) to identify new product opportunities
Talent Management and Development
Foster a work environment that is innovative and responsive to market needs, including developing the top product and engineering talent and expanding the team to support growth
Build a world-class product engineering team using a combination of US and offshore resources
Partner with the product leadership team to drive culture, practitioner engagement, and talent management (performance, succession, and career pathing) activities
Serve as a role model for Product Management leadership and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Product Management capabilities across Deloitte Consulting.
The Deloitte M&A and Restructuring Practice is an organization within Deloitte Consulting with the goal of delivering excellent experiences tour engagement teams and our clients. New Business Innovation (NBI) group is responsible for incubating and scaling new technology-enabled breakthrough ideas that address our clients' most pressing business challenges.
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 7 years product management experience, including progression of leadership roles
Effectively balances strategic thinking and details
Ability to balance multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity, including changing priorities
Experience in managing multi-disciplinary product teams
Experience and understanding in Enterprise Architecture frameworks and planning
Experience with early-stage products and new product development from ideation through market launch and revenue generation
Proven ability to successfully collaborate with internal stakeholders from various levels and areas of the organization and drive successful outcomes cross-functionally
Orientation toward results and successful delivery based on plans
Demonstrates proactivity and resourcefulness
Calm under pressure; ability to navigate and lead the team through any situation
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong communication skills: ability to write and speak clearly and with intent
Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
