Focuses on assisting thoseorganizations that are responsible for the delivery, funding and paymentmanagement of health care and medical related services. Clients includehospitals, academic medical centers, health systems, home health agencies, longterm care, outpatient facilities, ambulatory surgery centers, practitioners andphysician groups as well as health plans, other health insurance companies, andpharmacy benefit managers (PBMs).

About our Digital Care Practice

Deloitte works with healthcareoperational leaders and clinicians to lead them in their efforts to tailor asuccessful approach for improving patient care delivery and reducingadministrative costs while complying with electronic health record (EHR)mandates. This is where experience matters. Our consulting teams include formerindustry operational leaders, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and technologiststhat have helped leading healthcare systems, academic medical centers andcommunity healthcare systems and independent facilities realize significantcost savings while transforming how they serve patients. Working side-by-sidewith our client clinicians and operational leaders, we design solutions thatmeet our clients financial, operational and performance improvement goals.

Work you ll do

Managers are professionals withstrong records of academic and professional achievement who have the capacityand desire for continuous development and growth. Deloitte Consultingprofessionals must also be capable of working and communicating with people atall levels of an organization. Responsibilities typical of a manager on one ofthese projects could include:

Participate in settingengagement objectives and scope

Oversee work plans formultiple components of an engagement

Manage activities betweenwork streams

Provide guidance to juniorpractitioners as they manage large, confidential and complex data sets

Conduct client interviewsand facilitate client meetings

Develop process flowsdepicting pain points in the business process

Conduct detailed analysesto draw conclusions, and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations

Design and managedeliverable content to reflect the engagement contract

Present findings andrecommendations to client leadership

Mentor and develop juniorstaff

Engagement delivery:

o Manage and delivercomponents of client engagement

o Lead teams to assess, design,and implement solutions to achieve client s strategic objectives and businessissues.

o Assume accountability foron-time delivery of contracted activities and deliverables

o Build and source internalteams structure and composition to deliver engagements

o Manage engagementdelivery, work plan, activities

o Provide client sponsorswith regular updates

o Lead and manageidentification and prioritization of issues

o Ownership of budgeting andforecasting of team member time and expenses for projects

o Identify and mitigaterisks throughout the project life-cycle

o Conduct client interviewsand facilitate client meetings

o Present findings andrecommendations to client leadership

People Development:

o Perform role of counselorand coach

o Actively participate instaff recruitment and retention activities

o Provide leadership fordelivery teams and staff in local offices

o Leading work lifebalance expectation on engagements through flexibility and predictabilityinitiatives

o Provide input and guidanceinto the staffing process

o Provide real-time feedbackto project team members and participate in the performance review process

Eminence and FirmActivities

o Develop points of view inyour industry

o Publish white papers andpresent opinion at industry conferences

o Lead practice developmentactivities within the firm

o Lead and supportrecruitment activities

o Organize local officeevents to build firm culture

Core IndustrySolutions

Our Core IndustrySolutions practiceencompasses industry vertical, sector specific solutions that leverage distincttechnologies to drive operational change and automate the core of the business.Examples of the type of work we deliver to our clients includes Digital CARE(Epic), Insurance CST (Guidewire), and Digital Banking Solutions (nCino).

The team brings experience fromacross Deloitte to leverage common approaches, best practices, and strategicinvestments to scale these solutions by industry strategy. Professionals willfocus on key client issues that are at the core of the business by integratingour industry expertise with deep technical and operational transformationcapabilities.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor s degree fromaccredited university with strong undergraduate academic record. MBAand/or Advanced degree is preferred

Minimum of 8 years ofprofessional experience in Healthcare industry, or a mix of a few years industry experience and functioning as a Manager or higher in a consultingenvironment.

Minimum of 8 years ofprofessional experience in clinical information systems operations with atleast 3-5 lifecycle implementation of an EHR module

Experience leading ormanaging teams and change initiatives (especially in a project management role)

Experience with budgetaryresponsibilities related to projects or resources

Professional competence inthe Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Superior criticalthinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Exceptional interpersonal,team-building, and communication skills

Ability to build consensusand foster change in ambiguous settings

Commitment to personal andprofessional growth

Sense of responsibility toself, team, and client

Outstanding integrity,initiative, creativity, and passion

Record of consistentcareer progression with increasing levels of responsibility

Willingness and ability totravel 80%

Must live within commutingdistance to one of Deloitte s consulting offices

No Sponsorship

Preferred:

Advanced degree inbusiness or health care-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA) from a top tier program

8 years of managementconsulting experience in a health care related field

Certification in Epic orCerner, or training or experience in other Clinical Information Systems

Experience working on orleading large-scale implementation initiatives, including development ofdocumentation templates, clinical content, testing scripts, training plans, andimplementation plans

Experience in clinicalworkflow redesign
