Work you'll do:

The Cyber Defense Trainer will serve as the Cybersecurity Curriculum Developer/Instructor and will design and develop training objectives, guides, job aids, course outlines and other course material utilizing instructional design models. This position will be located ON-SITE.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

• Active Secret security clearance required

• High School Diploma/GED

• Must have or willing to obtain IAT III Certification (such as CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH) within 30 days.

• 3 or more years of experience with instructor-led training (ILT), training and development, web based training and training content and delivery.

• 3 or more years of experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS (Elastic Stack, Splunk, HBSS, or equivalent)

• Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred:

• Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

• Strong background /familiarity with Windows and Linux command line, networking, traffic analysis and MITRE ATT&CK framework

• Experience working on a cybersecurity team, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Cyber Protection Team (CPT) or Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP).
